Sharjah24 - WAM: According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), a 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred Tuesday in Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), USGS said.
There were no initial reports of injuries or deaths.
The US Tsunami Warning System cancelled an initial tsunami warning for Vanuatu.
USGS said there was no tsunami threat to the US territories of Guam and American Samoa.
