As part of the opening ceremony, Sarah Sky personally guided guests through the exhibition, offering exclusive insights into her creative process and the inspirations behind her work.
This special collection features 53 artworks, symbolizing the 53 years since the UAE’s formation. Each piece resonates with themes of unity, movement, and vibrancy, reflecting the artist’s multicultural background and her journey as a French-American creative raised in Morocco and based in Guatemala.
The exhibition, titled “Formula Exhibition”, will run from 8th to 20th December 2024, coinciding with Abu Dhabi's dynamic cultural season during the Formula 1 finale.
Showcasing Sarah Sky’s mastery of abstract expression, the collection spans intricate miniatures and bold largescale canvases. Her innovative use of color, texture, and form invites audiences into a deeply introspective experience, making her art universally engaging.
