Dr Abdullah Khalaf Al-Hosani, the Secretary-General of the Quran Complex, welcomed him to the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah and provided an overview of the academy's role in promoting Islamic culture.
He outlined various initiatives aimed at promoting the Quran, including the Sharjah International E-Quran Academy, Quran museums, and specialised conferences and seminars that focus on Quranic recitations and rhetorical interpretation Abdullah Al-Hosani accompanied the Secretary-General of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran on a tour of the academy, highlighting its scholarly and research projects; Quran museums featuring rare manuscripts and artifacts illustrating the history of Quranic writing and studies; and a temporary exhibition showcasing manuscripts and rare historical works by the esteemed scholar Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sa'di.
Saad Al-Dosari conveyed his appreciation for the exceptional work of the Quran Complex in safeguarding the heritage of the Holy Quran, enhancing knowledge pertaining to its studies, and its commitment to fostering Islamic values.
He highlighted that these commendable efforts stem from the insightful vision and generous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in the service of the Quran. This encompasses the founding of this esteemed institution and its scholarly and research endeavours, including rhetorical interpretation, methods of Quranic instruction, and documentation of the history of Quranic writing.
Al-Dosari highlighted that this visit offered an opportunity to delve into the distinctive experience of the Quran Complex, which plays a vital role in serving the Quran and embodies Sharjah’s vision and mission in promoting and safeguarding Quranic heritage.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Printing the Holy Quran in Dubai coordinated the visit, reflecting efforts to enhance collaboration and unify initiatives among institutions committed to serving the Quran in the UAE. This encourages the advancement of Quranic collaboration, research, and inquiry, all while safeguarding its intellectual heritage.
