Sharjah 24 – WAM: The death toll from last week's landslide in eastern Uganda has risen to 28, with the bodies of two three-year-old boys among those recovered from the mud, according to police. Dozens are still missing.
Over 100 people were feared missing after the landslide on Wednesday, which struck villages on the slopes of Mount Elgon, an extinct volcano near the Kenya-Uganda border, about 300 km (190 miles) east of Kampala.
