Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sunday attended the final race of Qatar Grand Prix 2024 - Formula 1, held at the Lusail International Circuit in Doha, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
The event was also attended by several heads of state, high-ranking officials, and delegations from various countries, as well as an enthusiastic audience of motorsport fans.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour commended the neat organisation of the global event and the exceptional international participation, underscoring Qatar's substantial progress in the field of sports and its ability to successfully host major sporting events. He conveyed his sincere wishes for Qatar's ongoing development and prosperity across all fields.
Qatar Grand Prix 2024 - F1 was held from November 29 to December 1 at the Lusail International Circuit, designed to meet the highest global standards. The event provided a unique opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts to enjoy competitions featuring elite drivers and teams from around the world.
Accompanying His Highness Sheikh Mansour during his visit to Qatar were Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, the Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; and several other officials.
Earlier today, His Highness Sheikh Mansour arrived at Doha International Airport, where he was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of Qatar, and several senior officials.
