An Inspiring Experience of Pride
According to Wafa Al Nuaimi, a member of the 11th National and Reserve Service class, enrolling in the National Service is a distinguished way to show support and loyalty to the United Arab Emirates.
"Through National Service, we learnt valuable skills and adopted traits such as patience and teamwork," Al Nuaimi said. She described National Service as a rewarding experience and urged other people, particularly women, to enlist. She viewed the physical effort and difficulties as "beautiful exhaustion," which led to pride and achievement.
National Service: A Source of Pride and Honour
A member of the inaugural National and Reserve Service class, Soha Al Yafei, highlighted that the program is a source of pride and a testament to commitment and allegiance to the United Arab Emirates. She said that she learnt time management, resilience, and thankfulness for family and other benefits during her time in the military.
"National Service enabled me to discover strengths I never thought I had," Al Yafei said. Whether they are moms, daughters, or working women, she encouraged Emirati women to take advantage of the chance to enlist in National Service and get the distinction of defending the country.
Both graduates emphasised the ways in which National Service promotes national pride and solidarity in addition to enhancing individual character.
