Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), inaugurated the innovative new exhibition, Earth Dreams, at the Museum of the Future. The immersive experience, located on the ‘Tomorrow, Today’ floor, premiered during the Dubai Future Forum week.
Earth Dreams, created by Refik Anadol Studio in collaboration with the Museum of the Future, blends art, technology, and nature. It features a series of AI-powered, immersive data paintings that explore a world where human memory, machine intelligence, and nature converge. By utilizing millions of natural world photos, satellite imagery, and meteorological data, the exhibition creates a stunning visual experience with the help of over 30 projectors and generative AI models.
Aligned with the Museum of the Future's mission to foster innovation, Earth Dreams reimagines the relationship between technology and art in the era of artificial intelligence. The exhibition unfolds in three chapters:
• Chapter 1: AIR – A breathtaking view of the skies through cloud and atmospheric data.
• Chapter 2: LAND – A multisensory exploration of Earth’s beauty using meteorological and environmental data.
• Chapter 3: WATER – An interactive experience where boundaries between past and future, AI, and nature, dissolve into one.
With its fusion of technology, science, and art, Earth Dreams invites visitors to experience the planet in a completely new light, reflecting on the interconnectedness of ecosystems, species, and landscapes.
