Al Ain beat Al Orouba 4-2 in ADNOC Professional League

Sharjah 24: Al Ain secured a 4-2 victory over Al Orouba in the opening match of the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League at Dibba’s Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium on Thursday.

This win marked Al Ain’s first over Al Orouba in the league, having previously drawn in two matches during the 2021-2022 season. Al Ain now sits in sixth place with 11 points, while Al Orouba remains near the bottom with 3 points.

Al Ain took the lead with goals from Soufiane Rahimi (12'), Laba (29'), and Mohammed Awad (44'). Laba added a second goal in the 62nd minute, before Al Orouba’s Mohamed Reda (73') and Gabriel Kak (78') scored to reduce the deficit.
