This statement was made during his visit to Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, where he met with the university's leadership and students. The visit was attended by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China, and Mariam Alshamsi, UAE Consul-General in Guangzhou.
His Highness Sheikh Saud said, “Investing in the education of future generations is an endeavor with life-long returns, shaping the path towards greater prosperity and development. This path will be determined by the quality of education delivered to our younger generations, as a university education provides the knowledge and insight that is essential for the advancement of humanity, and for achieving the kind of growth and prosperity we seek in the UAE.”
I hope that this visit to Sun Yat-sen University can be the catalyst for greater collaboration between higher education institutions in Ras Al Khaimah and Guangdong.”
