Sharjah24: The Sharjah team lost to Al Rayyan of Qatar with a score of 28-26 in a match that took place on Thursday evening during the second round of Group A in the 27th Asian Handball Club Championship, held in the Qatari capital, Doha. The first half ended in favor of Sharjah, with a score of 14-13.
With this result, Kuwait tops Group A with 4 points, followed by Al Rayyan with 3 points, and Bahrain's Al Shabab in third place with 1 point. Sharjah is in fourth place with no points.

Sharjah will face Al Shabab in the final match of the preliminary round next Saturday, November 16.

In Group B, the teams include Al Khaleej from Saudi Arabia, Al Duhail from Qatar, Mas Kerman from Iran, and Sidab from Oman.

It is worth noting that the quarterfinals will feature the first place team from Group A against the fourth place team from Group B, the runner-up from Group A against the third place team from Group B, the leader of Group B against the fourth place team from Group A, and the runner-up from Group B against the third place team from Group A.
