Sharjah24 - WAM: The Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC) in Al Ain, in partnership with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), has successfully hosted an event to bolster the ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ campaign.
The initiative was in direct response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to extend unwavering support to the Lebanese people.
People of Determination, their families, and a group of ERC and ZHO employees and volunteers came together to contribute to the humanitarian effort. The event involved packing food and health supplies into ERC boxes, which will be sent to Lebanon to assist those affected by the ongoing challenges.
Dr. Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Director of the ERC in Al Ain, expressed his gratitude for the participation and generosity of all involved. He highlighted the importance of the event in showcasing the UAE's commitment to humanitarian aid.
