Sharjah24 - WAM: A train collision in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya on Sunday has left at least two dead and 20 other injuries.
Ahram Online quoted the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) as saying that a locomotive travelling from Qena collided with the rear of a passenger train heading to Cairo from Aswan, causing two of the train’s carriages to derail into the Ibrahimiyah Canal.
The derailed carriages were separated from the train, allowing it to continue its journey to Cairo, the ENR added.
