Sharjah24 - AFP: US President Joe Biden will visit areas later this week hit hard by the passage of powerful storm Helene, which has already claimed dozens of lives, the White House said Sunday.
Biden "intends to travel this week" to the southeastern United States "as soon as it will not disrupt emergency response operations," the White House said in a readout of his latest briefing from federal emergency management personnel.
