Sharjah24 - AFP: Chinese President Xi Jinping confers national medals on outstanding honourees at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China. Xi also presents the Friendship Medal to Dilma Rousseff, former President of Brazil.
Commenting on this, Xi Jinping, Chinese President pointed out, "At present, China is in a critical period of comprehensively promoting the construction of a great country with Chinese-style modernization and the nation's rejuvenation. The whole party and people of all ethnic groups should take heroic models as examples, unite and forge ahead, and assemble an incredible force to work together for the important goal of building a powerful nation."
