Sharjah 24 – WAM: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) announced that a pension amount of AED810,693,576.22 will be disbursed on Friday, September 27th. This represents a significant increase of AED91,728,008 compared to the same month last year, when pensions totaled AED718,965,568.68.
In September 2024, a total of 48,735 pensioners and beneficiaries will receive their pension disbursements. This marks an increase of 1,916 eligible individuals compared to September 2023, when the number of recipients was 46,819.
The beneficiaries include both civilians under Federal Law No. 7 of 1999 Promulgating the Pensions and Social Security Law, and those whose files are managed by the GPSSA on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
