Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club achieved advanced positions among sports clubs in Sharjah during the "Sharjah Sports Summer - Our Vacation is Different 2024" program. The club secured first place in the overall competitions held among the clubs as part of the program's activities last July. These achievements highlight the club's efforts and active participation during the program, enhancing its standing in the cultural, community, and sports arenas of the emirate. The club also received the award for Best Participating Club.
The award was received by His Excellency Saeed Mu'adhed bin Huwiden Al Ketbi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club, at a ceremony organized by the Sharjah Sports Council at the Sharjah Education Academy, attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Council, board members, Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Director of Sports and Community Events, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Summer Committee, as well as club board members and committee members.
For his part, His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huwiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unlimited support for cultural and sports activities in the emirate, particularly for Al Madam Club. He also thanked the Sharjah Sports Council for its continuous commitment to sponsoring sports, cultural, volunteer, and community programs for all clubs in the emirate, and for supporting the distinguished members of these clubs.
Bin Huwiden congratulated all employees, coaches, and members of Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club, highlighting their role as an exceptional and integrated team throughout the preparation, training, and competition phases of the program. He emphasized the active participation of every member in the different teams of the club in training participants across all age groups for various activities, stating that this victory would not have been possible without the collective effort and organized administrative and field work, following well-studied strategic plans that ensure achieving the highest levels of success.
