Noura bin Sandal: SEDD prioritises sustainable tourism dev.

Sharjah24: Noura Yousif bin Sandal, Deputy Director of Planning and Economic Studies at the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) highlighted the significance of the seminar titled "Investment and Sustainability Prospects in Tourism Sector", noting its vital contribution to fostering sustainable economic development and boosting investment opportunities.
In a recent statement to “Sharjah24”, bin Sandal emphasised the Sharjah government's dedication to enhancing the tourism sector, which led to the organisation of a seminar at Al Aljada conference hall. The seminar addressed important subjects including the distinctive benefits and economic importance of the hospitality and tourism industries in Sharjah, tourism metrics and data within the emirate, and the contribution of tourism to fostering sustainable economic development and enhancing investments. 

The study examined how national entrepreneurship and innovation contribute to the advancement of the tourism sector.

Bin Sandal highlighted that the seminar involved contributions from a range of government and private entities, alongside entrepreneurs. She emphasised the importance of collaborative economic initiatives in attaining sustainable development. Sharjah is prioritising the establishment of a sustainable tourism sector, which is a crucial element of the emirate's development agenda and plays a vital role in economic diversification.
