Sultan bin Ahmed hosts UOS students on medical training in US

Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, emphasized the significance of establishing channels for knowledge exchange between the University of Sharjah and other pertinent international educational institutions. This initiative is crucial for achieving strategic objectives related to training and student exchange programs and is integral to the development of national expertise for the sustainable progress of the UAE and Sharjah.
During a meeting on Wednesday morning, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed engaged with final-year medical students from the University of Sharjah who are undergoing training at the Mayo Clinic in California, USA. The students are citizens of the UAE and are gaining valuable clinical experience as part of their medical education.
The President of the UOS commended the proactive approach of the students in seizing the diverse opportunities facilitated by the university. The institution has established strong affiliations with reputable international organizations through a network of agreements and memoranda of understanding.
