With renewed support, LSF will enhance its services, refurbish its facilities, and hire a clinical psychologist and early childhood educator. In 2023, LSF's anti-poverty services reached over 1,500 women. The embassy also plans to organise a cultural trip to the UAE for LSF beneficiaries, showcasing Emirati values of women empowerment and child protection.
To mark the partnership renewal, a lunch and activities for children were held, celebrating the UAE’s values ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Attendees visited the UAE Olympic House in Paris, learning about Emirati culture from athletes Maha Abdullah Al Shehi, Safia Al Sayegh, and Yousef Rashid Al Matroushi.
Hend Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to France, emphasised the UAE's commitment to empowering women and protecting children as vital to social cohesion. LSF's founder, Patricia Rouff, expressed gratitude for the UAE's continued support, highlighting the impact of long-term partnerships in their mission.
