Sharjah 24 – Reuters: Bayern Munich secured a narrow 3-2 victory over VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday, thanks to a late goal by Serge Gnabry, giving their new coach Vincent Kompany a winning start in the Bundesliga.
Wolfsburg started strong, but it was Bayern who took the lead in the first half with Jamal Musiala scoring from close range after excellent play by Sacha Boey.
Despite a shaky start to the second half, including conceding a penalty that Lovro Majer converted, Bayern managed to equalize through an own goal by Jakub Kaminski before Gnabry's late strike sealed the win.
