The circular allowed working parents to arrive late or leave early during the first week of the new school year to accompany their children to and from school or daycare, with a maximum of three hours per day.
The department clarified in the circular that the varying start dates of the school year, as determined by the relevant authorities for each school, nursery, or kindergarten, are considered.
It urged all human resources units in government agencies within the emirate to facilitate the process for working parents, in line with the systems and regulations of the Ajman government.
