Abdullah bin Salem forms SIMSC's BoD

Sharjah 24: Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Sharjah issued Administrative Resolution No. (18) of 2024 regarding the formation of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
After reviewing Law No. (2) of 1999 regarding the establishment of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and its internal regulations and amendments; Law No. (4) of 2018 regarding the organisation of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC); Administrative Resolution No. (10) of 2020 regarding the restructuring of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club; and based on what the public interest requires, Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah has issued the following resolution:

Article (1)
The Board of Directors of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club shall be formed under the chairmanship of His Excellency/ Khalid Jassim Saif Al Midfaa, and the membership of each of:

1. Mr. / Ahmed Obaid Yousef Al Qaseer.
2. Mr. / Humaid Khalfan Saeed Al Kindi.
3. Mr. / Humaid Ali Humaid Al Muhairi.
4. Mrs. Shaima Rashid Sultan bin Taliah.
5. Mr. Tariq Saeed Alai Al Naqbi.
6. Mr. Talib Ali Salem Al Dhahouri.
7. Mr. Abdullah Sulaiman Al Kabouri Al Naqbi.
8. Mr. Fahad Ahmed Abdullah Al Khamiri.

Article (2)
The BoD shall distribute administrative positions among its members, at its first meeting, and the BoD shall elect a Vice President by consensus or through direct secret ballot.

Article (3)
The term of membership in the BoD shall be four years, renewable for a similar term or terms starting from the date of issuance of the present resolution, and the BoD shall continue to carry out its work upon the expiry of its term until a new Board of Directors is formed or the expired Board is renewed.

Article (4)
The present resolution shall be effective from the date of its issuance, and the relevant authorities shall implement it, each in its respective capacity, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
