Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the rapid construction of a “grand mosque” next to the hanging gardens in Kalba, in order to serve its visitors.
The mosque, which overlooks the main road, will accommodate 300 worshippers, in addition to a special section for women.
The directive of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah was announced during the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
