Sharjah 24 – WAM: Iran’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian has taken over the presidential office from interim president Mohammad Mokhber, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
In a ceremony organised on Sunday morning, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei officially endorsed Pezeshkian as the 9th president of the Islamic Republic, based on Article 110 of the Constitution.
