Sharjah 24 – ONA: The Omani police, military, and security services have concluded handling the shooting incident in Wadi Al-Kabir, Muscat Governorate, which occurred Monday evening.
The incident resulted in five fatalities, including one policeman, and the deaths of three perpetrators. Additionally, 28 people of various nationalities were injured, including four who were on duty, policemen and emergency responders from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority. They have been hospitalised for treatment, and investigations into the incident are ongoing to determine the circumstances.
Oman Police expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, wished a speedy recovery to the injured, and appreciated the national efforts and cooperation of citizens and residents that helped contain the situation.
The Omani Police emphasised relying on official sources for information and advised against trusting unreliable parties for updates.
