SAEE invites students to invest in their summer vacation

Sharjah 24: As part of the ongoing efforts to support the educational field and enhance and refine students’ skills, the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence (SAEE), affiliated with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, called on taking advantage of the summer vacation, to enhance their participation in the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence.
The award emphasised the importance of the role of the educational field and society in investing the summer vacation in a productive and constructive way, to empower and train students of different ages in basic skills, expand their awareness, and develop their talents and abilities in a sustainable manner. This contributes to enhancing their participation in the award and achieving their aspirations for a useful and purposeful holiday.

In this regard, Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, stressed the importance of investing the summer vacation period in developing students’ intellectual and creative abilities in all fields.

He explained that this investment not only serves to prepare them for subsequent educational stages, but also contributes to their effective participation in the award categories that aim to serve the school and local community and families in general.

Al Hosani extended his thanks, appreciation and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s directives and continued support for launching summer activities throughout the Emirate.

He added: "These activities are in line with His Highness's vision of caring for youth and young people, and exploiting their free time in purposeful and distinctive programmes that bring them enjoyment and benefit."

Al Hosani pointed out that the pioneering directives of His Highness, and His Highness’s support for students through the launch of many activities in Sharjah government institutions, contribute greatly to enriching the educational and pedagogical experience, and this influence qualifies the distinguished to advance to the award categories. These summer programmes and events support all the aspirations of students and families in applying for the categories of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and early preparation for it, to meet its requirements and obtain opportunities to be nominated for it, stressing the necessity of knowing the award categories and beginning preparation for them, and competing in their categories to enhance the chances of winning.

For her part, Alia Ibrahim Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence, pointed out that the summer vacation is a golden opportunity to translate the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, in the optimal investment of leisure time, acquiring skills and developing capabilities.

Alia Al Hosani stressed the importance of the family’s role in supporting their children and encouraging them to join summer activities to benefit from and fill their free time, explaining that these distinctive annual events in the Emirate contribute greatly to discovering and developing skills and talents.

She also explained that the summer school vacation gives the educational field a suitable time space to determine the category in which they wish to participate through the participant portal, which is: https://award-shj.ae/, and begin preparing for the requirements, and complete the registration.

She stressed the need to be careful and focused in choosing the category and to be aware of its conditions and standards in a conscious manner, to enhance the chances of winning.

She concluded by emphasising that the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence is a milestone in supporting and enhancing the process of education and excellence in the Emirate of Sharjah and in the United Arab Emirates, and that its standards contribute to preparing a distinguished and creative generation to building a bright future for the Emirate and the nation.
