Sharjah24 - WAM: Today, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ayman Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, condemned the continued Israeli raids on the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / the Holy Mosque, the latest of which was the storming of one of the extremist ministers in the Israeli government. Today, members of the Knesset and extremists entered the mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
The two ministers denounced, during a phone call, the Israeli government’s permission for the so-called flag march in occupied Jerusalem, and the accompanying aggression against the Palestinians, extremist racist practices, and the imposition of restrictions on worshipers’ access to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and restricting the movement of worshippers in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Ayman Al-Safadi stressed the need for Israel, as the occupying power, to comply with its legal obligations, and to stop the illegal and illegal Israeli measures that undermine the chances of achieving a just, lasting and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

The two ministers also stressed that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its entire area of 144 dunams, is a pure place of worship for Muslims, and the need for Israel to respect the historical and legal status existing in the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of the role of the Hashemite custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, and appreciated its role in protecting the identity of the Arab, Islamic and Christian holy sites.
