SEC appoints director for Fisheries Auth.

Sharjah24: This morning, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, chaired the Executive Council meeting in his office, in the presence of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
During the meeting, the council discussed several topics related to enhancing the quality and organisation of governmental work across various vital sectors in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Furthermore, the council issued a resolution regarding the promotion and appointment of a director for the Sharjah Fisheries Authority, wherein Salem Mohammed Al Mahrazi, the Director of Support Services Department at the Sharjah Fisheries Authority, was promoted to the rank of "Department Director" under the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah government and appointed as the director of the authority.
The council also reviewed the second report of the Encroachment Removal Committee in the farms of Sharjah City, which highlighted the number of field campaigns and inspection tours, the number of farms entered and closed, the encroachments detected, and the number of violators apprehended. Additionally, the council listened to the major challenges and obstacles facing the committee and the recommendations supporting their work.
The council commended the committee's efforts in monitoring encroachments through continuous inspection campaigns, urging them to intensify efforts to curb these issues that affect the environmental, health, and security aspects. Furthermore, they emphasised the importance of increasing awareness campaigns aimed at eliminating encroachments, praising the significant cooperation among local governmental entities in the Emirate of Sharjah to facilitate the committee's tasks.
