Sharjah 24: The "Zainat Al Sharjah" troupe, part of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage delegation, has completed its participation in the "Naham Al Khaleej" Art Award in Doha.
The Cultural Village Foundation "Katara" hosted the event, where Emirati participants Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi and Obaid Mubarak Al Suwaidi excelled, with Abdullah reaching the semifinals.
Thirteen competitors from Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq demonstrated true heritage in their performances.
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage delegation, including Director of Artistic Heritage Ali Al Shamisi and Heritage Expert Ali Khamis Al Suwaidi, emphasised the importance of promoting Emirati heritage and cultural legacy through participation in such events.
Ali Al Shamisi highlighted the Zainat Al Sharjah troupe's distinct presence and dynamic performance, emphasising its importance in various aspects of artistic and cultural heritage, with the goal of strengthening relationships within the heritage sector and highlighting the UAE's cultural and civilisational legacy.
