Sharjah 24: Khawla Al Mujaini, the Executive Director of the Sharjah Animation Conference, revealed that the event hosts a remarkable roster of 70 speakers hailing from 11 different countries. These speakers, comprising experts, specialists, intellectuals, and technicians, will contribute to the conference's discussions, which span a wide range of topics related to the animation industry.

The conference, which runs until May 5th, boasts an extensive programme featuring over 60 events. Among these are 19 workshops, 28 dialogue sessions, 6 interactive discussion sessions, and 3 concerts, providing attendees with a comprehensive exploration of the world of animation.

Al Mujaini emphasized to “Sharjah 24” that the conference serves as a valuable platform for networking opportunities, allowing producers and filmmakers to come together to explore potential collaborations.

She highlighted the significance of the conference being chosen by Walt Disney animation legend Andreas Deja for the exceptional screening of "The Lion King" on its 30th anniversary, alongside the premiere of his new short film "Mushka". This selection underscores the conference's growing prominence and influence in the animation community.
