He added, “We aim to provide immense delight to the residents of Kalba, surpassing the beauty of Al Hefaiyah Lake and the hanging gardens. Kalba's joy will be multiplied, as we are determined to ensure that happiness never leaves this town.”
In an announcement, His Highness expressed his plans to prioritise the central region in the coming days. Al Dhaid University will be inaugurated on Thursday, April 25th, God willing. The university covers a wide range of disciplines, such as agriculture, livestock, and other fields.
In reference to the cattle initiative, His Highness the Sharjah Ruler mentioned, "We have a scheduled event on April 29th, God willing, related to the 'Cows Project'. These cattle belong to the pure A2A2 lineage, which is less prevalent compared to the more common A1A2 lineage. Normally, A2A2 milk commands a premium price due to the limited number of cattle producing it and the increased expenses associated with raising these animals. They are also known for their impressive ability to withstand various climates and easily adapt to different environments.
His Highness said that A2A2 milk is known for its superior quality and higher levels of fats and proteins compared to other cattle breeds. On average, it contains over 4% fat and 3.5% protein. This milk is considered one of the highest quality products available to consumers, delivered in its purest form without any alterations or removal of its natural components. A2/A2 milk is known for its unique protein composition, specifically A2 beta-casein. This protein closely resembles the one found in mother's milk, making it easier to digest and providing notable nutritional advantages.
The Ruler of Sharjah highlighted the numerous health benefits of A2 milk. 1- Improved Digestion: A2 milk has been found to be more easily digested compared to regular cow's milk. This can potentially provide relief for individuals dealing with digestive problems.
In addition to the above benefits, New study reveals: A2 milk found to have reduced levels of fats and carbohydrates compared to regular cow's milk, potentially benefiting cholesterol levels. It also promotes weight loss: Studies have shown that A2 milk contains linoleic acid, which aids in fat metabolism in the body. In addition, A2 milk has the potential to enhance calorie burning as it contains lower levels of carbohydrates and fats in comparison to traditional cow's milk. Recent research suggests that A2 milk may have higher levels of beta-carotene than traditional cow's milk. A powerful antioxidant, beta-carotene protects skin cells from harmful UV radiation, potentially offering a defence against wrinkles and the signs of ageing. In addition, A2 milk is thought to support the health of nails and bones. It also assists during pregnancy, with A2 milk is highly recommended as a valuable source of calcium and protein for expectant mothers and their babies. Additionally, it includes vitamin D, which plays a crucial role in supporting bone health for both the mother and the child.
A2 milk offers a larger quantity of calcium in comparison to traditional cow's milk. A single cup of A2 milk contains a sufficient amount of calcium to meet the recommended daily intake. It is also rich in essential vitamins, with more nutritional elements, as regular milk generally has lower levels of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, potassium, sodium, copper, manganese, iodine, selenium, and chromium. On the other hand, A2 milk offers higher levels of all these essential minerals. It also helps in boosting the immune system, as A2 milk has the ability to strengthen the immune system, providing yet another advantage. Consuming regular cow's milk can lead to increased inflammation rates for certain individuals due to the presence of A1 casein. As a result, individuals who experience frequent colds may find that consuming A2 milk can potentially decrease the occurrence of inflammation.
It decreases the likelihood of developing diabetes. Diabetes is a condition that can be prevented or minimised through changes in diet. Recent research suggests that the consumption of A2 milk may be linked to lower levels of insulin resistance in adults. It promotes bone health: A2 milk contains a rich array of nutrients that support the maintenance of bone mass. As time goes on, the body's bone mass naturally decreases. However, A2 milk can help facilitate the absorption of calcium, making it a beneficial addition to one's diet. As a result, bones become stronger.
A2 milk enhances mood and promotes better sleep: A2 milk is rich in tryptophan, an essential amino acid that stimulates the production of serotonin. Serotonin is known for its ability to regulate sleep patterns and improve mood. Tryptophan also plays a role in the production of melatonin, a hormone that helps regulate our sleep-wake cycle. Tryptophan helps improve sleep quality and increase feelings of happiness. A2 milk also improves energy levels: Many individuals opt for A2 milk instead of regular milk due to their belief that it enhances energy levels. New findings have emerged indicating that milk from A2 cows contains a significant amount of omega-3 fatty acids, which are important to maintaining optimal brain health. Additionally, these fatty acids have a notable impact on enhancing cognitive function. A2 milk decreases inflammation: regular cow's milk contains casein protein, which may contribute to increased inflammation, allergies, and asthma attacks in certain individuals. Contrastingly, A2 milk lacks casein, thus preventing any potential allergic responses.
Research has indicated that A2 milk may have a positive impact on heart health. A2 milk improves vision, as high levels of vitamin B12 and iron in A2 milk help maintain eye health. It is also free from hormones and antibiotics. A2 milk is considered safe for consumption as it is produced without the use of hormones or antibiotics. A2 milk is known for its superior taste as it undergoes a chemical-free processing method.
The Ruler of Sharjah has highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety of consumers by packaging milk in hygienic containers. He emphasised that plastic containers will not be used, and instead, milk will be packaged in specially imported cardboard from Sweden.
His Highness highlighted the poultry project that focuses on a unique breed of slow-growing chickens. In contrast to typical poultry farms, where chickens are artificially accelerated to reach maturity in just 27 days after hatching, the chickens on this farm undergo a natural growth process. They are not given any growth stimulants and take a longer period of 70 days to reach maturity for consumption. It is interesting to note that these chickens are not given any medication, but instead are treated with natural products like turmeric, ginger, aromatic herbs, and oils. When these chickens eat these plants, the advantages also extend to the people who consume them. In these chickens, the nutritional value of turmeric remains unchanged even after cooking, making it a valuable addition to the chicken meat.
Concluding his statement, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah extended his well wishes for good health and safety to everyone.
