Al Mazmi: Greater Authorities for Rental Disputes Centre

Sharjah24: Obaid Al Mazmi, a member of Sharjah's Consultative Council, has provided clarification on the council's approval of a law project concerning the establishment and regulation of the Rental Dispute Resolution Centre in Sharjah. The decision was made during the eighth session as part of the regular legislative activities for the 1st ordinary term of the eleventh legislative chapter.
In an interview with Sharjah 24, Al Mazmi mentioned that the idea of establishing a rental dispute resolution centre in Sharjah had been brought up in previous legislative sessions. It went through changes after engaging in discussions with government representatives, including Counselor  Dr. Mansour Mohammed bin Nassar, the Head of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah; Counselor Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salman, the Legal Advisor to the Department of Municipal Affairs; Hamid Hassan Al Qayed, the Director of the Public Parking Department at Sharjah City Municipality, and Tariq Mohammed Al Zarouni, the Head of the Rental Disputes Resolution Department at Sharjah City Municipality.

Al Mazmi stated that the discussions between council members and government representatives went smoothly, resulting in the law being endorsed. The law is designed to benefit the emirate by making it easier to resolve rental disputes, speed up transactions, boost Sharjah's economy, and promote sustainable development in the real estate sector.
