Sharjah 24: The 34th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2024, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), will kick off tomorrow (Friday) and run until April 13, covering all cities and regions across the emirate.
Recognised as one of the most significant economic festivals in the region, the festival is set to bolster the retail sector as it will draw in key sector representatives, major commercial hubs in the emirate, brand agents, productive families, entrepreneurs, and owners of small businesses.

The 37-day extravaganza caters to Sharjah's residents and visitors from both domestic and international markets. It offers a curated blend of heritage-themed activities and immersive shopping experiences, complemented by exciting draws, competitions, and valuable prizes for attendees.

Additionally, the festival is set to captivate the public with competitive offers and enticing discounts across various shopping centers featuring an extensive range of globally recognized retail outlets and brands, along with diverse entertainment destinations within the emirate.

In celebration of the holy month, the festival's latest edition will particularly give shoppers the opportunity to enjoy a selection of deals and offers provided by hundreds of brands across the emirate's shopping centers.

These offerings feature a diverse range of products and merchandise, as well as gifts, with discounts of up to 75%, creating a thriving environment that fosters fierce competition among global brands and attracts audiences with enticing discounts.

Organised in collaboration with several local government entities, authorities, and institutions, and with the support of the managements of shopping centers, central markets, and retail outlets in Sharjah, the festival gives the public unparalleled opportunities to secure unmatched deals at the participating shopping centers and destinations. It also positions the emirate as an exceptional hub for those seeking a unique Ramadan experience.

Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), stressed that the Sharjah Ramadan Festival is one of the key initiatives launched by the chamber over the past three decades, catering to successive generations of shoppers.

He emphasised that the festival plays a significant role in bolstering the retail sector, nurturing various related economic sectors, and fostering a vibrant festive ambiance that enhances social cohesion through a series of offerings and discounts, which, in turn, facilitate and broaden the community’s access to a diverse range of products and merchandise during Ramadan.

For his part, Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director of Economic Relations and Marketing at SCCI and General Coordinator of the Festival, urged the emirate's community and visitors to actively engage in the event.

He urged them to discover the offers and surprises in store at numerous participating malls and shops, as well as to delight in the event programmes set to unfold at the emirate's renowned tourist destinations throughout the festival duration.
