Sharjah 24: In the Buhais region of the Sharjah Geology Park, a wide variety of unique artistic works are showcased during the "Sharjah Cinema Days" project, which is organised by the FANN Foundation - Media Discovery Platform.
The programme's overarching goal is to provide an inclusive environment where creatives can connect, exchange ideas, work together, and rise to the challenge of bringing their visions to life.

The programme gives people the chance to view seven sculptures and artworks created by a group of Emirati artists. These creations represent the community's hopes for the future and take inspiration from great works of film.

The FANN Foundation undertakes this initiative as part of its mission to showcase its quality experiences and contributions in strengthening the creative scene in the Emirate of Sharjah.

"Sustainability of Minds" features an artistic creation by Emirati artist and Head of the Applied Media Department at the Higher Colleges of Technology Ahlam Al Banaai that captivated attendees of the cultural event throughout the initiative's days. The idea that stood out was based on the words of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, which concentrates on people as the cornerstone of progress and sustainability.

Visual artist and Emirati student of media at the Higher Colleges of Technology, Hamad Al Jasmi, unveiled "Nostalgia of the Emirates," an invitation to see the future via reminiscence. Using a framework of future imagining, the work remembers a group of well-known sites of the country in its previous shape and highlights them.

Ali Al Saadi, a student at the Higher Colleges of Technology, contributed to the project under the moniker "Arabwood," showcasing his love of film via his creative endeavours. He was proud to say that "Sharjah Cinema Days" gave him a platform to show off his skills as an artist.
