It should be designed in a flexible way so that it can be used both vertically and horizontally, in color or black and white, and must be clear and visible when zoomed in or out.

"The prize for the winner is AED 25,000."

Marwa Al Aqroubi, President of uaeBbY, has mentioned that the award has accomplished a lot  in its 15-year journey. The award has played a significant role in enriching children’s and young adult literature in the Arab world and encouraging publishers, authors, and illustrators to be innovative in producing and publishing children's books in the Arabic language. It has also contributed to elevating the standards of these books to meet international levels, resulting in many international publishing houses translating them into various languages.

Al Aqroubi emphasised that the logo competition has been launched to refresh and modernise the visual identity of the award, with the objective of promoting children's and youngsters' literature and inspiring their creativity. The competition seeks to expand the interest in books for children and young people in the Arab world and to provide a platform for developing children's literature. Furthermore, it aims to supply the Arab library with high-quality books that are distinguished in both form and content.
