Sharjah24: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) today organised a dynamic symposium titled "The Impact of AI on Strategic Business Leadership in the Future," as part of the Strategic Business Leadership Programme, aimed at bolstering the capabilities of human resources in both the public and private sectors.
The seminar, hosted by the SCCI’s Sharjah Training & Development Center, aimed to equip attendees with the knowledge to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for enhancing organisational systems and securing a competitive advantage for both governmental and private entities.
Held at the Chamber's headquarters, the gathering was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Hilal, Member of SCCI Board of Directors; His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of SCCI; Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of the Sharjah Chamber for Logistics; AbdulAziz Shattaf, Assistant Director General for Communication and Business Sector; Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of the Corporate Communication Department at the Chamber, as well as several employees from the Sharjah Chamber and government entities.
Led by Professor Sameh Al Namaki, a distinguished international expert in developing AI-based strategies, the symposium covered two primary themes. These explored the profound influence of artificial intelligence on business management and delved into the strategic challenges and prospects that businesses will encounter in the future.
Maryam Saif Al Shamsi emphasised that the timing of this symposium is strategically aligned with the World Government Summit, focusing on the digital future and the pivotal role of governments in leveraging technological advancements.
Al Shamsi added that the symposium aimed to shed light on a critical dimension of this global trend by examining the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of strategic business leadership. It sought to enhance the capabilities of human resources to navigate the implications of AI advancements.
Serving as a unique platform, the symposium offered participants the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of AI's role in data analysis, strategic decision-making enhancement, future trend forecasting, and the development of more effective and forward-looking strategies, she added.
