Sharjah24: Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Kalba City, affirmed the council's commitment to promoting the facilities and stunning landmarks of the city through the first Kalba Marketing Festival (KMF). The festival is organized by the council in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry which will run for one month.
The Municipal Council and Municipality of Kalba, in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and several government departments, have launched the activities of the first edition of the Kalba Marketing Festival (KMF).
The festival was inaugurated by Dr. Obaid Saif Al-Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Kalba City, in the presence of Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Naqbi, Director of the Municipality, and several directors and officials from government departments and institutions in the city, including the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority "Shurooq" and the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority.
The Chairman of the Municipal Council stated that the festival includes various carnival, artistic, and heritage activities in different tourist sites in Kalba City, spanning a whole month. He affirmed that the festival was launched from the new heritage market, which was inaugurated a few days ago by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and the Ruler of Sharjah.
Dr. Obaid Saif Al-Zaabi explained in statements to Sharjah 24 that the festival aims to promote the stunning tourist sites that Kalba City boasts, spread joy and happiness among the city's residents through accompanying events, and enhance tourism and commercial activities in the city's markets through discounts offered by several companies and institutions throughout the entire month.
