Sharjah24: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced it is meticulously progressing through the evaluation phase for various categories of the Sharjah Excellence Award, held under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The rigorous evaluation process will culminate with winners being announced at a distinguished ceremony hosted by the Sharjah Chamber at Expo Centre Sharjah on April 17, 2024.

The comprehensive appraisal process entails methodical site visits by evaluators to the participating economic enterprises. This is complemented by a systematic grading process and the preparation of preliminary technical reports, which will subsequently be reviewed by the award's judging panels between February 20 and February 22, 2024, to finalize the scores and outcomes based on the defined primary and secondary criteria for each award category.

Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinator of the Sharjah Excellence Award, said that the 2023 edition of the award has seen significant qualitative and quantitative growth in participation from businesses across the UAE and the GCC. This increase has been evident in the preliminary assessments from field visits, the calibre of the candidate submissions, and their adherence to the award’s principles. Aimed at nurturing a culture of quality and organisational excellence, these principles seek to enhance competitiveness and create a conducive investment environment for the business communities in the UAE and the broader Gulf region.

She emphasized that the award's evaluation procedures are conducted in line with top-tier international benchmarks, adding that these rigorous processes will proceed until February 20, after which the adjudication phase for the contenders will commence. The evaluation methods are aligned with the most advanced global standards and contemporary institutional assessment models. The judging committees are and will continue to be committed to maintaining a high level of transparency and impartiality, which is instrumental in crafting a legacy of excellence for this year and in the future.
