His Highness stressed the importance of developing society in all aspects, especially the environmental aspect, pointing out that the directives always aim to provide the necessities of a decent and healthy lifestyle, a pollution-free life for everyone in the community.
His Highness praised the efforts of the university’s board, its administrative staff, and teaching faculties, who contributed to its growth and development in terms of academic programmes, which contribute to improving students’ critical thinking, reflecting society’s progress. His Highness thanked the University of Sharjah, for creating the university’s educational curriculum.
The board discussed various academic and administrative matters concerning the university and approved several decisions.
The board approved the university’s internal regulations regulating all academic, administrative, and financial matters, in addition to graduate programmes, scientific research, and others.
The proposed budget was approved along with the reports of the committees affiliated with the board: the Academic Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Financial Resources Committee.
The meeting reviewed several reports on the university’s academic performance during the previous period, in addition to the future plans that the university will work on, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals set to improve educational and administrative performance.
