Sharjah 24 – WAM: Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), issued a resolution establishing the Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and appointing Asma Mohamed Hassouni as the Director of the Media Office.
This resolution is part of the organisational framework for the media activities supporting the functions of the SCFA Departments, and ensuring the implementation of the best media practices at the local and international levels.



Asma Mohamad Hassouni, a passionate young Emirati, holding a master’s in literatures of communication from the University of Sharjah, has worked as a Deputy Director of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah for over 10 years, and working at the same time as News Anchor at Sharjah Broadcasting Authority since 2017.

The Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs is an integrated system that focuses on media strategic planning for the initiatives of all Departments at SCFA, playing a vital role in achieving the strategic objectives including, building an effective and strategic media system, and establishing strong local and international partnerships and relationships with various media platforms supporting families.

The Director of the Media Office will formulate effective media policies and strategic plans to ensure the sustainable development of communication and media operations. Additionally, the Media Office will highlight the most significant efforts of SCFA departments at regional and international levels, and build an integrated media team with specialized competencies in the field of family media.
