Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah
Sharjah 24: The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah issued a new issue of the quarterly electronic magazine Marami, for the months of October, November and December 2023.
The issue, which bore the number “156,” included several diverse topics and dialogues, while the editorial of the issue, written by the editor-in-chief, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, shed light on “the language of the writer,” where Her Highness began her article by saying: “The writer is one of the guardians of the Arabic language, because he writes in it, thinks and expresses it, it is the language of his creativity, and the echo of the conversation in his imagination, which is indispensable for any poet or novelist. Therefore, the more he mastered it and knew its secrets, the more influence his literature took on Arab culture and remained in the memory of time and readers.”

Her Highness added: “There is no doubt that literary writing is not limited to knowledge of the language, as the idea of the subject, the culture of the writer, and his ability to deal intelligently with the emotional language of literature, are the foundations of the success of the text in reaching the reader. But language is the framework or as they say: the ideal vessel that elevates the text and brings it to those who should read literature.”

Her Highness continued that the language of the writer is his identity, whether in his writings or dialogues, and even in his efforts, and it strongly enhances its presence in our lives amid the great challenges that we face. Her Highness concluded her article by saying: “Male and female writers must know that the language of their writings does not only bring them special glory. But it enriches the culture of society, and reflects the civilised image of Arabs and Muslims in the eyes of the world. The more we immerse ourselves in our culture and language, the more importance we have in the world.”

The issue also included several distinct and diverse investigations, topics, and dialogues in the various sections of the magazine.
