Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council, chaired the proceedings of the first regular session of the 11th legislative chapter, on Thursday, at the council’s headquarters.

During the event, the council’s observers were elected, namely Member Abdullah Tarish Al Ketbi and Member Salem Mohammed Al Rashidi.

Then the council moved to forming committees, where His Excellency the Chairman of the Council, Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, indicated that Article No. (26) of the council’s internal regulations stipulates that the council shall form the committees necessary for its work during the first week of its annual meeting.

At the end of the proceedings, the council formed the committee charged with preparing a response letter to the speech of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah at the opening from the chair and rapporteur of each committee.

The council will hold its next session, which is the second, on the 28th of December, to discuss the general budget of the Sharjah government for the year 2024.
