Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) launched the 12th annual Al Hamriya Children's Festival in the Heritage Village in Sharjah today, Monday. The festival, which is being coordinated by the Al Hamriya Municipality, will run until December 21st.

The Al Hamriya branch director, Maryam Majid Al Shamsi, said that the festival is a community-wide event that features a wide range of activities with the goal of attracting and engaging families with children through various kinds of entertainment, cultural competitions, educational workshops, and handicrafts.

The department's attached production centre (Intaj) also has a display of items from families.

Workshops on arts and crafts, as well as workshops for children titled "Creative Corner" and "Creative Fingers," are all part of the festival.
