Sharjah24: Rita Vazquez, Director of La Prensa Newspaper of Panama, elaborated on her remarks to Sharjah 24 at the second edition of Global Media Congress, saying, "We just had a wonderful session with journalism professionals led by Professor Percy Fernandez, Chairperson of the School of Media & Communication, Manipal Academy (UAE), and the speech was about how media organisations, technology companies, and universities work together to create better journalism.
The session was great since we were able to discuss various viewpoints from across the world. We have participants from the Arab world, China, and Latin America discussing the issues that we confront on a daily basis at work with the entry of technology into our organisations and the production of news media."
