Sharjah24: As part of the 42nd activities of the Sharjah International Book Fair, the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah organised the Sharjah Cultural Salon, where four Emirati women writers shared their experiences in writing stories for children, inspiring by the book “Essential Messages” of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

During a dialogue session, the attendees were inspired by the book “Essential Messages” by the Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. The book includes topics that support knowledge, cultural and awareness values in the Emirati and Arab library.

The session hosted the writer Amira Boukadra, the writer Noura Al-Khoury, the promising writer Reman Abdullah, and the writer Nadia Al-Najjar. The media session was moderated by Aisha Al Ajel. 

Amira Boukadra started her speech by expressing her admiration for the book “Essential Messages”, describing it as one of the most significant books she has ever read. The messages are filled with genuine sincerity, coming straight from a mother's heart. They are addressed not only to her children, but also to future mothers.

Nadia Al-Najjar highlighted that "Essential Messages" serves as a valuable source of inspiration, offering numerous valuable lessons for life.

According to the writer Reman Abdullah, she expressed, "The story I selected is titled 'The Hope of Writing' out of the four messages that intrigued me." However, I didn't hesitate much in selecting this title, which was inspired by one of the messages discussing the importance of hobbies and emphasising their necessity for every individual.

Writer Noura Al-Khoury highlighted the importance of the message that underscored the significance of possessing learning tools to enrich experiences and develop skills.

The attendees highlighted the remarkable significance of the book, which they stressed it represents a valuable source of inspiration that imparts numerous life lessons. They also emphasised that Her Highness’ Book serves as a source of inspiration for countless female writers and holds deep significance for readers.

Salha Obaid Ghabish, Head of the Cultural and Media Office at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs stated that the writers carefully selected messages that aligned with their storytelling vision. As a result, four books were published, including one written by the talented child author, Reman Abdullah.

She concluded her statement to highlight the Office’s approach in embracing the idea of literary and intellectual sustainability, shedding light on Her Highness' book, "Essential Messages" as a source of inspiration for several female writers.
