Sharjah24: In an effort to boost participation in the upcoming elections for the Sharjah Consultative Council, the Media Committee for the Sharjah Consultative Council Elections has been actively engaging with various government entities in Sharjah. Their goal is to motivate and inspire national employees to register on the electoral lists.
These endeavours are in line with the election's slogan, "Engage in Shaping Decisions," which aims to encourage all members of the community to play an active role in the democratic process and have a say in selecting their council representatives. This demonstrates the Media Committee's dedication to promoting electoral awareness and increasing the turnout in the elections.

Working in collaboration with the Electoral Centre at the Sharjah Municipality, the committee's team has provided comprehensive explanations of the registration process and the necessary steps for participating in the elections to employees. They've also facilitated the registration process making it simple and convenient.

Furthermore, the committee's representatives visited the General Command of Sharjah Police, where they were warmly received by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and other senior officers. They encouraged members of the police force to register on the electoral lists.

The committee's outreach efforts extended to the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, where they were greeted by His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and Salem Al Ghaithi, Director of the Authority, along with senior staff. The purpose was to encourage their active participation in the electoral registration process.

This visit programme is set to continue in the days ahead, encompassing visits to various government institutions such as the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the Department of Town Planning and Survey, the Human Resources Department, the Sharjah Central Finance Department, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, the Social Services Department, and more.
