Sharjah24: In the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, His Excellency Eng. Hamad Juma Al Shamsi, Head of Department of Town Planning and Survey (DTPS) , DTPS launched its innovative service, “Replacing Land Grants in the Emirate of Sharjah,” during its participation in the Sharjah Government Pavilion at the GITEX 2023 .
The service is an innovative electronic way that allows customers to exchange land grants in the Emirate of Sharjah by executing the exchange between two people, or replacing it with ready-made lands proposed by the Department .
The launch of the service comes in line with the vision and strategy of the department which aims to provide competitive services that contribute to facilitating and accelerating procedures, and innovating new services that respond to the requirements of the public and enhance customer happiness.
The department allows its auditors to complete the service by visiting its website, logging in with the digital ID, and choosing the replacement request from the electronic services. In case of approval, an email is sent to the customer to complete the procedure and choose the type of replacement. At the end of the service, the customer is notified that his previous land is available for exchange with others.
