Sharjah 24: Within the framework of enhancing cultural communication and introducing the participants and guests of the 12th Age Forum to the customs and traditions of the UAE, the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) organised a trip to the popular restaurant “Arabian Tea House” in Sharjah aiming to introduce the participants to the unique Emirati culinary experiences, customs and traditions.
The trip began with an enjoyable experiential trip through the local Sharjah markets, where participants were able to explore the authenticity and diversity of local cuisine and products, and ended at the restaurant, which is considered a distinctive destination for Emirati food lovers.
In the “Arabian Tea House”, the participants enjoyed the experience of eating delicious Emirati meals. The experience was not limited to food only, but a detailed explanation was given about Emirati customs and traditions.
The trip was a wonderful opportunity for participants to learn about the heritage and culture of the UAE through an enjoyable experience for the forum’s guests from Switzerland, the United States of America, Japan, Mexico, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
