Sharjah 24: Sharjah's Department of eGovernment, in partnership with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the Digital Government, announced the establishment of the Sharjah Digital Academy.
The Digital Academy is a joint national undertaking of digital governments aimed at personnel working in digital transformation-related professions.
The Digital Academy will rely on an artificial intelligence-powered platform to promote more effective learning, which will improve the quality and efficiency of services.
Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director-General of the e-Government Department, provided a speech during the inaugural event underlining the relevance of the Digital Academy. He emphasised that it is a new chapter in the Emirate's strategy for promoting digital transformation.
He also mentioned that the partnership between the E-Government Department, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and the Digital Government in developing the Sharjah Digital Academy will help to strengthen the knowledge economy.
