He highly thanked the great support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who is credited with the success of Sharjah’s experience in wheat cultivation.
Al Tunaiji explained that the agricultural experience in Sharjah faced many challenges, but it faced them by developing appropriate solutions and innovations, and proved the incorrectness of the convictions of the futility of agriculture in this hot climate environment.
The head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock pointed out that the Sharjah experience is an incentive to move forward to develop it technically and scientifically to come up with an experience that is more sustainable, suitable for weather conditions, and less expensive, and to make optimal use of Sharjah’s experience in wheat cultivation.
